Can I apply online?

Yes. You can submit a copy of your resume online in respect of the relevant position you are interested in.

Can I email Expro with a question or to follow up my application?

If you have a question about our recruitment and employment policy, firstly look through our careers site.

If you are having problems with the registration process, or entering your information (the section of the site you're directed to if you click on Job Search & Apply), use the FAQ facility.

If you have registered with us as a general applicant, we will contact you when your experience and skills match a vacancy.

Can I apply through this careers site for offshore based or operational roles?

We currently conduct recruitment through this website as well as locally.

I've heard that Expro has gained some work, where can I find out details on your recruitment for this?

If you use the search facility within the website you will be able to find if there is ongoing recruitment for positions you may be interested in a particular country or area

Can I apply for more than one role?

Yes, but although the selection criteria may be similar most positions are very different. Please think about the type of role that will best suit you and your ultimate goals, and only apply for appropriate vacancies.

Can I apply if I don't have a full work-permit?

No. We can only consider applications from those with a full and valid permit to work in the country in which they are seeking employment, unless the position requires specific skills which are unavailable within the local workforce.

What can I expect at an interview?

Friendly people and lots of questions. We'll want to know all about your background and whether your skills match our core competency framework and the role for which you're applying. Of course, interviews work two ways, so you'll be encouraged to ask questions about Expro in return.

How long does it take to apply on line?

About 5 minutes. Just answer a few simple questions and then upload your CV.

I applied to Expro before. Can I reapply?

We have many different roles at Expro and even if you have applied for one, there may be others you are interested in. So please do apply for any you are interested in. We do ask though that if you were not successful for one particular job after going through to interview, that you wait 6 months before re-applying for the same role.

Is overseas travel mandatory at management level?

Not necessary, but as our international operations grow, more roles do require some travel and if you are mobile, there may be a wider range of career opportunities open to you.

I have made an error on my application. What should I do?

You should contact the HR department.

I have lost/forgotten my user name and/or password. What should I do?

Please let us have your details and we will get a new password to you.

I have recently changed my e-mail address, how can I update my details?

Tell us your new email address and we will change it for you.

My circumstances have changed. How do I remove myself from the application process?

You can remove your details by returning to your profile and from the 'Candidate Profile' section you can lock your profile or delete it. Click here to remove your details.

What should I do if I have a disability that may affect my performance at any stage of the recruitment process?

Expro welcomes applications from disabled people. Please let us know at application stage what adjustments you may need during the recruitment stage. We will then contact you to ensure these are put in place.

When will I meet someone from the business?

If your initial application is successful, we will be in touch to let you know what happens next.

Do I have to have work experience to be considered for a position at Expro?

This will depend on the type of role you are applying for, for some it would be an advantage, for others you will have full training and support to get you up to speed.

I don't know which role to apply for. What should I do?

You can always apply for any roles you are interested in.

Can I apply to more than one area/role?

Yes. Let us know what you are interested in and our recruiters will work with you to find the right match.

I have already applied. Can I change my application?

Yes. It's important that your details are up to date, so please contact HR.

What criteria or which qualifications are required to apply to a role within Expro?

If we are looking for people with particular qualifications or experience, this will be included in the advert.

Selection

Do I need a work permit?

Yes. You will need to have the right to work in certain countries and we will ask for evidence of this. For operational and offshore roles the Company will make applications on your behalf if working in locations outside your normal base country.

When will I be interviewed?

This will vary depending on what you have applied for. We will be in touch with details of what happens next.

I have been given a date for interview, but I need to change it. What should I do?

Please contact the individual to whom you received the interview date and advise them of an alternative date(s) and they will be happy to help.

How long will the interview last?

This will vary depending on what role you are interested in.

What do I need to bring along to my interview?

We will let you know exactly what to bring along with you at interview stage. However, should you be offered a position we will be looking at your right to work in the relevant country, this could include being asked to provide a passport, birth certificate, proof of national insurance number or social security number where applicable etc.

Benefits/Training

Does Expro support study for external qualifications?

Yes we do support study for qualifications that are relevant to the role. This can be discussed at interview stage. Details of our educational assistance provision are detailed in the section of benefits and training

What salary and benefits can I expect at Expro?

For general details of our package please see the reward section. The package that applies to a particular role will be discussed in more detail as your application progresses.

Will Expro be willing to pay for me to relocate?

Possibly, depending on individual circumstances. If you think this may apply to you, certainly please discuss it with us at interview.
