Location: Corpus Christi

2 vacancies have arisen within the Expro Operations - Well Test Department in Corpus Christi, TX for an Assistant Operator.

The principal accountabilities of the position are:

• Maintain a safe area of work, promote safe working practices, and aim for an accident and incident free environment.
• Attend regular safety meetings, toolbox talks prior to and during operations.
• Procedures have been followed - to avoid accidents, damage to the equipment, lost of test data, harm to the environment.
• Maintain good Expro/Customer relationship at all times.
• Data collected accurately and presented professionally to achieve a high quality report for the client.
• Assistance in rigging up the equipment , pressure testing and function testing the equipment and the EDS system.
• Assistance in all other maintenance duties as required by Welltest supervisor and well test chief operators .
• Perform risk assessment for any equipment or task not presently covered in the Expro risk assessment Manual.


The successful candidate will also meet the following criteria:

• Knowledge of the Expro Group Health & Safety Manual
• Understanding of the company’s operating and maintenance procedures.
• Understanding the basics of the principles and theory of well testing operations.
• Understanding basics of the pressure testing sequences and company’s procedures on the pressure  tests
• Understanding basics of the pressure rating well test equipment and material types.
• Good communication skills required - written & verbal.
• Mechanical background
• 0- 2 years previous well test experience
