Location: Aberdeen

A vacancy has arisen within the Subsea department in Aberdeen for Subsea Technicians reporting to the Subsea Operations Manager.

The purpose of the job is to run subsea equipment offshore to allow the Client to conduct successful and safe operations.

The principal accountabilities of the position are:

To conduct Expro business in a manner that prevents harm to people and the working environment
To successfully complete tool runs allowing the Client to complete operations safely with minimum down time
To ensure concise instruction and tuition is provided to subordinates to allow them to develop their skills and progress within the team
To conduct competence assessments of subordinates to ensure development within their team
To ensure that equipment is fit for the purpose in order for operations to be successful
To accurately complete Client Service Records to allow correct charges to be set against the Client
To broaden the scope of knowledge enabling the candidate to become a more flexible member of the team
To conduct subsea operations unsupervised

To assist in other Expro services as and when required

The successful candidate will also meet the following criteria:

Have intimate knowledge of basic tools and procedures with regard to function, testing, troubleshooting and safe practices
Be self motivated, disciplined and able to work under pressure
