A number of vacancies have arisen within the CHS Mechanical Department for Slickline Technicians, who will report to the Operations Manager.
The purpose of the job is to supervise and manage, efficiently and safely, all aspects of Expro’s services to the customer, commencing at the pre-job planning stage and ending at the satisfactory close out of operations.
The principal accountabilities of the position are to:
Carry out all aspects of the operation in a safe and timely manner.
Rig-up of equipment in accordance with accepted procedures.
Pressure testing of equipment in accordance with the company standard procedures and specific customer requirements
Independent operation of complete equipment in accordance with the company operating procedures and customers programme requirements
Carry out the maintenance and repair of Expro and company owned equipment on-site
Ensure all relevant data are recorded and collected and compile a written report in accordance with the reporting procedures and standards
Liaise directly with Customer representatives on the execution of the various parts of the wireline programme
Liaise directly with the Job Supervisor on the company’s requirements with regards to the wireline programme
Supervise the crew members on the particular shift
Assist in the operation of customer owned wireline equipment
Carry out Performance Assessments on subordinates
Give general assistance to the Well Services Supervisor.
Conduct pre-operation safety meeting and record minutes on appropriate form
Carry out Multi-Skill activities where required
Compilation of high quality reports in accordance with Company’s reporting procedures and standards.
