Location: Den Helder
A vacancy for the above position has arisen within the Continental Europe Area. The successful candidate will be based in Den Helder, Holland and report to the CE Production Manager.
The purpose of the job is to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the platform oil & gas processing facilities within the client’s established quality targets and safe working procedures. To assist the OIM in achieving the objectives established for the production platform.
The principal accountabilities of the position are:
- Process all data gathered from well production, oil & gas process, water and condensate treatment, utility systems, tanker loading and regulate in accordance with prescribed procedures and schedules. Inform OIM of any major irregularities.
- Maintain full control as on site authority over third party contractor personnel where required.
- Maintain full control over co-ordination between operating and maintenance/E&I personnel for preparation of equipment in accordance with platform preventive maintenance system.
- Ensure all equipment being maintained is isolated according to the procedures.
- Perform brake down maintenance, preventive maintenance and fault finding on process.
- Assure permits are filled in correctly and assure security of equipment and procedures whilst permits are in force.
- Assist OIM in all aspects of his duties.
- Play an active part in shut down planning and the concept of the shutdown program.
- Participate in strategic forward planning.
- Be focal point for mechanical problems between suppliers, service companies and platform in close co-operation with the OIM.
- Raise required paperwork for spare parts and keep control on minimum stock on board.
- Timesheets and expenses to be compiled accurately and handed over to the Production Manager promptly at the end of the month via Lead Operator and OIM.
- Fully understand the operators permit to work system.
- Full awareness of reporting procedures for accidents, incidents.
- Received offshore training as required by Operator.
- Take active part in loss control meetings and make a positive contribution.
- Full awareness of emergency plans and ability to initiate these plans when necessary.
- Perform consignment duties within a rota system.
- Knowledge of hazard data sheets for materials present at worksite and protection required.
- Responsible for safe operation of facility and all personnel therein.
The successful candidate will preferably meet the following criteria:
- Education on MTS/HTS Level, Petroleum & Gas and/or Werktuigbouwkunde or Vapro B/C.
- Previous Education or experience in offshore industry is wanted.
- Drivers License B.
- Dutch and English spoken and written.
- A proven team player.
