Location: Den Helder
A vacancy for the above position has arisen within the Continental Europe Area. The successful candidate will be based in Den Helder, Holland and report to the CE Production Manager.
The purpose of the job is to assist in the operation of the platform/location gas/oil processing facilities within the client’s established quality targets and safe working procedures.
The principal accountabilities of the position are:
- Acquire knowledge and monitor of production gas process, condensate and water treatment, utility systems and regulate in accordance with prescribed procedures and schedules.
- Assist in co-ordination between Operating Maintenance and E&I personnel for preparation of equipment in accordance with platform preventive maintenance system and permit to work system.
- Assist with mechanical maintenance.
- Acquire knowledge of platform preventive maintenance system.
- Assist in all platform duties as and when required (Logistics).
- Timesheets and expenses to be compiled accurately and handed over to the Expro Production Manager promptly at the end of the period via the HMI for signature.
- Acquire knowledge of specific items of equipment used in the gas processing facilities and its functioning.
- Fully understand the (Nogepa) permit to work system and HSE manuals (including Expro’s HSE manual) and adherence to these procedures.
- Reporting of accidents, incidents, etc via the applicable procedures.
- Be member of Emergency teams on board as directed by HMI (MOB, Fire team).
- Have knowledge of hazard data sheets for materials present at the worksite and protection required.
- Be responsible for safety of self and colleagues.
- Take active part in loss control meetings and make a positive contribution.
- Active in learning total production process and operations using relevant instruction manuals and task inventory.
- Be open to perform functional discipline tasks (Turbines, Cranes, Engines).
The successful candidate will preferably meet the following criteria:
- Education on MTS/HTS Level, Petroleum & Gas and/or Werktuigbouwkunde or Vapro B/C.
- Previous Education or experience in offshore industry is wanted.
- Drivers License B.
- Dutch and English spoken and written.
- A proven team player.
