Location: Great Yarmouth

Vacancies have arisen within the Great Yarmouth Operations Support team for Maintenance Technician’s. The suitable applicant will report to the Workshop Supervisor.

The purpose of the job is to carry out maintenance on welltest related equipment to a standard acceptable within Expro Maintenance, HSE and QA/QC procedures.

The principal accountabilities of the position are:

  1. To ensure maintenance is performed to a high standard in accordance with quality procedures and customer requirements.
  2. To work with safety as a top priority.
  3. To prioritise own workload and liaise with Supervisor in order to meet deadlines.
  4. To suggest improvements and modifications to equipment.
  5. To maintain a high standard of housekeeping.
  6. To show good discipline and co-operation with peers.
  7. To maintain an active participation in improving the quality and HSEQ management system and bring to the attention of senior management any HSEQ issues that requires their attention.
  8. To participate and attend regular meetings to discuss operational base issues and share updates on latest company policies, structure, future plans, technologies and safety related topics.
  9. To take reasonable care to prevent harm to themselves and consider the potential harm to others or the environment that may be caused by acts or omissions.
  10. To work in accordance with information and training provided and not to undertake any task for which authorisation and/or training has not been given.
  11. To refrain from intentionally misusing or recklessly interfering with anything that has been provided for Health, Safety and Environmental reasons.
  12. To assist in the supervision and training of offshore and onshore personnel working within the workshop environment.

The successful candidate should also meet the following criteria:

  • Understanding of the Company’s maintenance procedures and standards with regards to Well test equipment.
  • Good all round mechanical and or Electrical aptitude and understanding of equipment functionality.
  • Previous workshop experience.
  • Conversant with quality reporting procedures and awareness for accurate administration detail, i.e. job cards, reports etc.
  • Good communication skills required - written and verbal.
  • Understanding of COSHH, Manual handling and Risk Assessments.
