Technology

Expro are a technology led organisation.  They deliver their services through technology.  The AX-S™ project is an example of this.

AX-S™ is an in-house project being developed by the Expro Group Engineering department as a service tool for use by AX-S™ operations. Combining both the subsea and wireline experience of Expro to provide a much needed cost effective intervention tool specifically for deep water applications. Deployed from a dedicated vessel, AX-S™ provides a unique engineering opportunity.

Expro’s AX-S™ subsea wireline intervention system marks a step change in the well flow management of subsea wells.  The AX-S™  light well intervention system makes it cost effective to intervene in subsea wells by:

  • Providing a safer, deeper and cheaper alternative to using a rig or conventional wire-through-water intervention systems.
  • Rapidly diagnosing production and well integrity problems.
  • Curing simple mechanical issues or increasing production through reperforation.
