Region Supply Chain Manager - Latin America

A vacancy has arisen within the Group Asset Management Department in Brazil for a Region Supply Chain Manager - Latin America. The suitable applicant will report to the Global Supply Chain Manager. 

The purpose of the job is Create, Implement and Manage all aspects of Supply Chain Management for Expro for Region.

The principal accountabilities of the position are:

  1. Create standard and measureable processes for all core aspects of Regional Supply Management at Expro.
  2. Create and implement a quality, delivery and cost management system for all aspects of the Region’s supply base.
  3. Aligned to the Global SCM Team, evolve a long term SCM strategy to consider and propose lease/buy options, currency efficiency and contractual tax efficiency.
  4. Implement standard process on a region wide scale (not in existence today).
  5. Implement service/supply agreements with core suppliers (not in existence today).
  6. Implement supplier risk management tactics - train & support regional staff.
  7. Implement supplier relationship management skills - train & support regional personnel.
  8. Review and propose longer term strategies with regards to the cost base in terms of Low Cost/Local Content supply, contractual tax and currency efficiency.

The successful candidate should also ideally meet the following criteria:

  • Experience of Supply Chain Management with a global oilfield service company.
  • Management experience of procurement or SCM functions.
  • Ideally hold a business graduate and/or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt qualified.
  • Supply chain experience in manufacturing/machining oilfield components and/or raw material.
