Vacancies have arisen for Senior Well Testing Technicians based in Great Yarmouth and Aberdeen. The suitable applicants will work within the Welltest Department, reporting to the Operations Supervisor.
The purpose of the job is to oversee and organise equipment and personnel in all aspects of “On Site” operations in accordance with the clients agreed programme & contractual requirements, both safely and efficiently
The principal accountabilities of the positions are as follows:
• Maintain a safe area of work, promote safe working practices, aim for an accident and incident free environment. Conduct regular safety meetings prior to and during operations.
• Procedures have been followed - to avoid accidents, damage to equipment, loss of test data, harm to the environment.
• Customer requirements have been fully met - giving a good company profile.
• Data collected accurately and presented professionally to achieve a high quality report for the client.
• Equipment rigged up, pressure tested, function tested, ESD System thoroughly function tested prior to operations commencing.
• Comply fully with Expro Quality Procedures for equipment and personnel feedback.
• Risk assessments performed for any equipment or tasks not presently covered in the Expro Risk Assessment Manual.
• Liase with onshore Operations Supervisor to ensure he is fully informed about offshore operations.
• Compile end of job report, to include problem areas, which support Expro's continuous improvement.
• Complete on job appraisals for staff and provide on site training, where possible for junior staff.
Ideally you will also meet the following criteria:
• Ability to demonstrate practical experience of welltesting
• Knowledge of the Expro Group Health and Safety Manual.
• Understanding of the company’s operating and maintenance procedures
• Knowledge of operation of welltesting equipment
• Conversant with quality reporting procedures
• Good communication skills required – written and verbal
• Understanding of COSHH, Manual handling and Risk Assessments
